Introduction
The department is composed of two sections: Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. These sections work hand in hand in order to meet the departmental objectives which are in accordance to the university’s which is to pursue excellence in teaching, research and outreach.
The department in tandem with the Department of Clinical Services offers specialized paediatric dental and orthodontic care. We are committed to community service and care for the undeserved evidenced by the COBS primary prevention outreach program to schools and children’s homes that runs regularly.
